  1. Climate Change risk, i.e. the chance that something is likely to be destroyed or damaged, is ultimately a disaster risk in a lesser temporal and spatial framework. And likely, CCA and DRR differ only in those contexts. Coping Capacity for risk reduction becomes Climate Change Adaptation in the long run if this endeavor continues and socially and culturally adapted by the community.
For a common man, like me the technological interpretation does not matter. It matters only the effect of the impact. Now, as the future effect of climatic variability is not understood by me at present, the reduction measures or coping mechanism does also not included in my present agenda of action.
So, why am I curious? Recently, I saw the pictures of climate induced disasters of USA, Europe, Australia, Latin America, Asia and in our country, even in our region. In last few years these places are shocked by Earthquake, Cyclone, Flood, extreme Cold, landslide etc. It is said that all these are somehow related to climate change. The physics behind these phenomena is not clearly understood by me, the economics of these events are known from the local community, specially the marginalized who suffers the most. I have seen the effect of sea level rise in Sunderban area. I have gone through the articles on climate change. I also know that perception of risks differ from context to context.
Now, where things stand? Everyone admits that CCA and DRR are that type of development planning process where the risks are taken into account on the merit, and also admits that Climate Change and Disasters are development mismanaged.
    The Dialogue
    • Who is responsible for the development?
    - Governments and its institutions (in a democratic setup).
    • Who ran the Governments?
    - Political party.
    • What is the driving force of a political party?
    - Political ideology.
    • What is the backbone of the ideology?
    - A particular economic structure/system.
    • Who sets this structure?
    - The lobby that controls the power center of a nation.
    • If a climate induced disaster mainly affects marginalized people, why then development is mismanaged?
    - Marginalised people do not have the access of the power, structure and resources. Thus, they are most vulnerable.
    • If the whole process goes against the majority of people, then how system goes on?
    - The politico-economic system creates the social system for their interest. This social system suppresses any conflict that may arise out of the clash of interest.

  2. The rise of 1⁰ rise in temperature cause more salinity to the agricultural land of Sunderban, cause harm to its biodiversity, risks the livelihood of local people. For the sake of our life and livelihood, I will now try to understand the consequences of 4⁰ rise, science and art of it, and so on.
